Dear Michael

Thank you for all your help during my treatment program. It was very frustrating to be my age and still have a problem with bedwetting. That’s a little kid problem. I really thought there was something wrong with me. My mom told me about the Enuresis Treatment Center and sent for some information. At first I didn’t want to do it. Mostly, I didn’t want to really admit that I still had the problem. Mom just left the brochure on my nightstand. After a few days I read through it. I realized there really might be help available, and I sure didn’t want to go on bedwetting. I couldn’t go to overnights often, and had to be really careful not to sleep much when I did. Every campout I went on I had to pack extra clothes and learn how to dry out my sleeping bag before the next night without anyone finding out. I would have died if anyone knew. I finally told Mom that I was willing to give it a try. She called the Center and we began the program.

I have to say, the program was pretty easy. I was amazed at how much I could take care of myself, and how easy it really was. The only part I found tough was all the recording of info, so Mom took care of that for me. I was able to drink lots, and hold it for a really long time after a while. It was great to be able to ask for a drink at bedtime and have Mom say “sure”. I felt really good at being able to wake up dry, remembering my password and beating the beeper.

Most of the time Mom talked to you on the phone, but the times I took the call you were really nice, and very understanding of the problem and how I felt about it.

Now, I am dry all the time, and bedwetting seems like just a bad memory. It has been a long time sine I had any wetting.

Thanks for all of your help. It feels great to be where I am now.
